That is what I would probably do all day every day if you let me.  I love to explore new places.  My name is Amelia Phillips.  I married my sweetheart in 2005 and we have 3 children: Holten, Tessa, and Bailey.  They are growing fast.  When they were little, we didn't travel much.  For many reasons...mainly it just wasn't in the budget. Once I got a taste of it though, and all 3 were out of cribs and old enough to sit through a dinner, I knew I was ready to roll ;) 

Although I wouldn't describe myself as always being laid back, I really love to fly by the seat of my pants so to say on vacations. I do not like to be disappointed in big plans, so I generally let the family decide what we are doing as we go. Everyone in my crew seems to do well with this laid back travel style.

I wanted to start a blog to give some of my tips on what I have experienced and on good travel deals when I find them.  In September of 2023, I got a taste of going back to work after 18 years of being a stay-at-home mom. By January I quickly realized where my passions lie and we decided to make some changes so that I can follow my dreams of being a travel advisor. Advising on travel and building vacations for our personal family, extended family, and friends has been a favorite pastime of mine for over 10 years. I have joined Passports and Footprints, an agency local to Mckinney. I have access to just about every sort of vacation planning you can think of!
